Then, the minister took part in opening of the new administrative building of the Mingachevir city Police Department.

He was given detailed information on the main parameters of the new facility. It was noted that all rooms of the four-storey building, with the common area of 2458 sq.m and together with other auxiliary facilities 3108 sq.m the construction of which was started in April of the last year, were supplied with necessary equipments, inventory and communications. There are 68 service rooms and the assembly hall for 125 persons in the new facility. Central ventilation and heating systems, boiler, communication and electric lines were installed here, other auxiliary spaces were constructed. The area was fenced, restoration, landscaping and external lightening works were performed.
 
The Minister of Internal Affairs got closely acquainted with the Duty Unit, service rooms, assembly hall, Detention Center, he looked at the photo stands reflecting the rich statehood activities of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the successes gained in the field of domestic and foreign policy of the respected President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and his care and attention to the authorities of internal affairs and stated his satisfaction from the works done.
 
Then, Mr. Ramil Usubov met the personnel of the department in the assembly hall, gave his assignments and recommendations, and noted with pleasure that the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev made great efforts for strengthening the logistics of the authorities of internal affairs, further improvement of working and life conditions and social protection of them. He said that the high attention and care of the respected head of the state encourages the personnel to perform the service duties decently. 
 
The minister stated he was sure that the associates of the Mingachevir City Police Department will response it with the practical works, they will manage all tasks set forth in the field of protection of order, safety and security in this city where the rowing competitions of the 1stv European Games will be held in a high level and with responsibility.
