On October 14 an opening ceremony of new service residential complex for officers and warrant officers has been held at the territory of Military Unit #N of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Internal Troops located in Sumgayit city.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel – General Ramil Usubov attended the ceremony.

Greeting ceremony was held, deputy minister, the commander of the Interior Troops, lieutenant-general Shahin Mammadov gave report to colonel-general Ramil Usubov about readiness of personnel.
After greeting honor platoons the Minister got acquainted with the conditions created in the new building for soldiers. It was reported that the five-story building which construction began on April 2014, was equipped with all the necessary equipment. Total area of the complex is 4800 square meters and consists of 60 apartments. A playground was created for children of Military personnel, and landscaped.

Mr. Ramil Usubov noted that as a result of a deliberate policy leadership of the head of our state Azerbaijan gained great success in the political and economic life of the country, in army building, as well as material technical base of the department of internal affairs was strengthened, social conditions of military servicemen yearly improved.

Bringing to the attention that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev has always appreciated the activities of the personnel of the Internal Troops the Minister expressed his deep gratitude to his excellency, and assured him that the soldiers of the Interior Troops in the future will adequately fulfill all the tasks.

Servicemen and their families who provided with new apartments expressed their deep gratitude to the leadership of the country and Ministry of Internal Affairs for the care and attention.

Then Mr. Ramil Usubov presented the newly appointed chief of the Sumgayit City Police Office.
Emphasizing the positive results achieved in the fight against crime and ensuring public safety, the Minister during the meeting with personnel noted the importance of sustainable success and realizing responsibility and adequately cope with the tasks.

The Interior minister expressed his confidence that the personnel of the Department will make a significant contribution to the protection of public safety, peace and fight against crime and will carry out their duties at the highest level related to the ensuring human rights and freedoms of citizens, will operatively respond applications of people and timely review them.

The head of executive power of Sumgayit Zakir Farajov has attended both ceremonies.
