The Congress on the topic “Better linked up security" was opened by German Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior Gunter Krings on 6 February.
Annually the conference, which is considered the leading conference of Europe in internal security issues, becomes a meeting place for over 1.600 representatives from more than 50 countries. A number of states including ministers of interior of Germany federal districts, Bundestag deputies, officials of the Interpol, Europol and European Union, chiefs of police and frontier service, representatives of private companies engaged in the sphere of security take part in this relevant international forum.

Challenges and solutions in the sphere of security, the role and future of special operations forces, strengthening of operational cooperation, prevention and investigation of cybercrime cases, digital forensics, public events, monitoring and security of public spaces and other broad-ranging topical issues will be discussed during this two-day event.
